Toddlers:

Singing Praises in God’s House

Lesson: 2 Chronicles 5:11-14

  • Where did the people sing praises to God? (In God’s House that Solomon built)

Verse: “Sing praises to God” (Psalm 47:6)

  • Have your child draw a picture representing the verse and talk about it together.



PreK/Kindergarten:

God Honored His People

Lesson: Esther 5; 6

  • How did God honor Esther and Mordecai?

Verse: “Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find…honor” (Proverbs 21:21)

  • Clap or stomp your feet as you say each word/syllable of the verse.



1st Grade Sunday School:

God Saved a Queen

Lesson: Esther 2:1-9:4

  • How did God save Esther?

Verse: Proverbs 21:1

  • Have your child draw a picture representing the verse and talk about it together. 

Application: Help your child pray for leaders both in his or her country and around the world. 



2nd-3rd Grade Sunday School:

Jesus Conquered Death

Lesson: Multiple Scriptures

  • What do you think you will say to Jesus when you see His scarred hands?

Verse: Psalm 1 Cor. 15:14

Theme: Jesus conquered sin and death by rising from the dead.  

Application: This week’s lesson covered the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. His resurrection is foundational to our hope of eternal life. 



4th-5th Grade Sunday School:

Time Wise

Lesson: Prov. 6:6-11; Eph. 5:14-16

  • What are some ways you could redeem your time daily?

Verse: Eph. 5:15, 16

Theme: God commands us to redeem our tune because the world needs Him. 

Application: The week’s lesson covered truths on time management from Proverbs and Ephesians. The Proverbs compared a sluggard to an ant. The Ephesian passage challenged them to buy up opportunities to serve God now. Help your child consider every day a valuable gift from God. 



1st-3rd Grade Children's Church:

Solomon’s Downfall

Lesson: 1 Kings 9:1-11:25

Theme: God wants us to follow and worship Him alone. 

  • What should be our main goal in life?

Verse: 1 Kings 8:60

  • Create a verse hunt with the verse. Write 1-2 words on a card and hide them around the house. Once all cards have been found, put the verse in the correct order.
