The Church’s Beginning

Lesson: Acts 1:4-2:17

• Since the Holy Spirit does not come into our lives with rushing wind and hovering flames, does that mean His presence in our lives is weaker than in the lives of the early church? Explain. 

Verse: John 16:7 

Theme: Christ sent the Holy Spirit to mark the beginning of His church. 

Application: The Spirit indwelled Jesus’ followers to empower them to take the gospel around the world. Help your child depend on the Holy Spirit for the wisdom and power to serve God well.
