Thanking God
Lesson: Psalm 100
God wants us to thank Him because He is good! Name some things to thank God for.
Verse: “Give thanks to him [God]” (Psalm 100:4)
The word ‘him’ means who? (God)
Lets say the verse together and clap when saying “give thanks”, point up when saying “to him”.
Lesson: 1 Kings 9:1-11:25
Do you think Solomon was loving God with all his heart while he was worshipping idols? (No)
Why should we love and worship God with our whole hearts? (He is the one true God, the only God, the only One worthy of our love and worship)
Verse: “Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness” (1 Chronicles 16:29)
Using your list from last week - find some ways to worship the Lord this week (Sing - sing a song together, Pray - pray out loud together, Read - read a verse/chapter together from the Bible)
