Equipping


We have begun a four-month (February, March, April, May) disciple-maker training time to help people make disciples.

It is about 58 minutes but doesn't need to be done in one sitting.
The future training will be shorter.  This is longer because of the importance of prayer.

Below is information about each month's training and the reasons for doing these things.

While the focus will be on the formal children's ministries at Trinity Baptist Church, the resources will be helpful for parents, grandparents, and those who serve in other ministries.

Here are the topics for each month.  Resource links will be posted at the beginning of each month.

February:  The Most Important Disciple-Making Activity:  Prayer  - TRAINING NOW AVAILABLE.

  • For nursery through 5th-grade ministry teachers and helpers - Follow the form at tinyurl.com/tbcprayertraining.  Be sure to complete all the required questions and hit SUBMIT at the  
  • For parents and anyone else interested in praying for kids - You can sign up for the webinar at - Truth78 Prayer Webinar
    • Would love to hear some of your takeaways from the video.
  • Pray...
    • A specific passage of scripture 
    • For the children you know.
    • For supported ministries:  Alpha Grand Rapids, Bible Clubs, Community Kids.
  • Towards the end of the month reflections, takeaways, and ideas will be shared.

March:  Church Ministries Conference with an emphasis on How to Teach.

  • Plan to attend the Church Ministries Conference on March 1 and 2 - grchurchministriesconference.com. Check out the more than 70 workshops.  If you need financial help, PLEASE contact Pastor Dave.
  • If you cannot go to the Church Ministries Conference, training videos will be available.
  • Go to the Google Forms page here soon and answer the questions.
