Toddlers:

God Led Israel

Lesson: Exodus 14:1-15:2

  • How did God help Israel? (Split the red sea)

Verse: “God is great” (Job 36:26)

  • The verse means that God is powerful, He can do anything! What great thing did God do for Israel? (Led them away from Egyptians)


Pre-K/K:

King Saul’s Excuse

Lesson: 1 Samuel 13:1-16

  • Did King Saul obey God? What did he do? (No. He made a sacrifice God told him not to.)

  • What should we do when we disobey God? (Ask for forgiveness) 

Verse: “Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22)

  • Would God rather have you obey Him or have you sing a song of praise to Him? (God loves songs but only when you sing with an obedient heart)


1st Grade Sunday School:

Jesus Forgave Sin

Lesson: Mark 2:1-12

  • What 2 blessings did the paralyzed man receive? 

Verse: Mark 2:10b

  • What does Jesus have the power, or authority, to do?


2nd-3rd Grade Sunday School:

David Aimed to Defend God’s Name

Lesson: 1 Samuel 16:1-13; 17

  • What did David do that showed he had faith in God?

Verse: Psalm 118:6

Theme: God does great things through those who know and trust Him. 

Application: David trusted God’s name and fought in God’s name. Help your child see God wants to do great things through them.

4th-5th Grade Sunday School:

God Forgives Our Sin

Lesson: 2 Samuel 11; 12; Psalm 51

  • What might believers do to stop from feeling guilty about their sin?

Verse: Psalm 51:17

Theme: God offers us forgiveness of sin and restoration to His service. 

Application: David owned up to his sin, confessed it, and asked God to restore his joy. Help your child regularly confess their sins to God. 

1st-3rd Grade Children's Church:

Rahab’s Faith

Lesson: Joshua 2

  • Was Rahab trusting in God or the red cord?

  • Who or what are you trusting in for salvation?

Verse: Joshua 1:8, 9

  • How did Joshua act on his faith?
