Lesson: Exodus 16:4-18

  • God wants us to thank Him for the good things He gives us, what are some of those things? (Family, food, home)


Pre-K/K:

David’s Focused Heart

Lesson: 1 Samuel 16:1-13

  • Who did Samuel anoint as the next king? (David)

Verse: “Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7)

  • What is more important to God: a person’s appearance or a person’s heart? (The heart)

David Respected God’s Anointed 

Lesson: 1 Samuel 24; 26

  • How much faith did David have to have in God throughout this story?

Verse: Psalm 57:1

Theme: God’s goodness remains perfect even when our lives are difficult. 

Application: David expressed his deep trust in God even as he ran for his life. Help your child with praising God no matter their circumstances.

4th-5th Grade Sunday School:

How Humility Brings Honor

Lesson: Various Proverbs

  • How does learning about the destruction of the proud encourage you to humble yourself before God?

Verse: Proverbs 16:18

Theme: God honors us when we walk humbly before Him. 

Application: The proverbs revealed that God hates pride and that pride brings destruction. It also revealed that humility brings honor. Help your child serve others without being asked.


1st-3rd Grade Children's Church:

Victory Over Jericho

Lesson: Joshua 5:13-6:27

  • What did Rahab have to do to be saved from destruction?

  • What did Joshua and the nation have to do in order to be victorious over Jericho?
