Jesus Taught about the Kingdom (Matthew 13; Mark 4)

 STORY POINT
This is the main point to emphasize from today’s Bible story.
Toddlers-Kindergarten: Jesus told stories to teach what God’s kingdom is like.
1st-5th Grade: Jesus taught what God’s kingdom is like using parables.

 CHRIST CONNECTION
This is the big idea of how this week’s Bible story points to Jesus.
Toddlers: Jesus is the King. When we trust in Him, we can be part of His kingdom forever.
Preschool-Kindergarten: Jesus is the King who came to bring God’s kingdom. Because Jesus died and rose again, we can be part of His kingdom forever when we trust in Him.
1st-5th Grade: Jesus is the King who came to bring God’s kingdom to earth. Through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, He made the way for people to be part of God’s kingdom. When we trust in Jesus, we are like the good seed in His field—we belong to Him, we grow in Him, and we will be with Him forever.
