Application: This week covered Ahab’s discontentment and his sinful attempt to find
satisfaction. Help your child find contentment from his or her relationship with God.
This lesson covered Isaiah’s prophecies concerning Jesus’ birth and future Kingdom. Help your child believe salvation comes through Christ alone.

Theme: The Word deserves our lifelong devotion.
The Word transforms sinners by His power.
Application: Jesus’ disciples were led by God to leave their lives as they knew them to follow the Lord. Help your child as they consider Christ his or her guide.
Jesus’ first sign was transforming water into wine. The sign illustrated the transformation that must happen in a person’s heart in order to be saved. Help your child understand that doing good works should be out of love for the Lord.
