Theme: God’s plans are unstoppable because He is all-powerful.
Application: This week’s lesson covered the rise of Esther to queen and her courage to stand for God in a foreign land. God responded by delivering His people from certain death. Help your child pray when faced with challenging circumstances.
The Word Redeems
Lesson: John 18; 19
Why was Jesus’ death different than any other death?

Theme: The Word provides redemption from sin.
Application: This lesson covered the arrest and crucifixion of Christ. With His words and actions, Jesus made it unmistakably clear that He went to the cross voluntarily. He chose to die so we might have eternal life. Help your child understand that Jesus bore his or her sin on the cross.
